REEL VALUE Accounting Solutions  (REEL VALUE) is an independent firm committed to safe-guarding the confidential and no-public information of its clients.  We hold all personal information provided to our firm in the strictest confidence.

General

REEL VALUE does not disclose any non-public information about our clients or former clients to anyone, except as instructed to do so by such clients.  We restrict access to non-public personal information to those professionals necessary to provide our services and we maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to guard your non-public personal information.

Collection of Information

The types of personal information collected from our clients in connection with any of the services provided by REEL VALUE may include any or all:

• Information a client provides on applications, tax returns, and other means, and can include assets, income, taxes, and debt.
• Information a credit bureau provides on a consumer report, including credit worthiness or credit history, with client authorization.

Protection of Information

REEL VALUE respects your privacy and does not provide any personally identifiable or non-public personal information to nonaffiliated third parties for any purpose, without written consent of our clients.

For non-affiliated third parties that require access to your information, i.e., Internal Revenue Service, Secretary of State of North Carolina, etc., we require strict confidentiality in our agreements with them and expect them to keep this information private.  In addition, this information is only released upon written consent of our client, i.e., electronic filing of client's tax return with the Internal Revenue Service or State Taxing Authorities, through a signed form or similar authorization.  Federal and State regulators may also review and audit our firm's records as required by law.

Security of Information

The security of our client's information is taken very seriously.  In order to guard your non-public personal information, we maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with our professional standards.  This ensures that client information is not placed at unreasonable risk.

REEL VALUE limits employee and agent access to client information to those who have a business or professional reason for knowing, and only to non-affiliated parties as permitted by our client's written consent.
